Last night and during the early hours of this morning a news story broke on the Dizzy Thinks blog. He asked why the media failed to mention the story themselves. I picked up this point and posted an article on my Jailhouselawyer's Blog. At least an hour before the Today programme started on Radio 4, I phoned the BBC and gave them the story Dizzy had posted. So far, the BBC has not broadcast the story. Given its explosive nature, I can only assume that there is a mainstream media blackout on the story. I have screengrabs showing that the BBC twice visited my blog to follow up the story's origin. Why has the BBC spent 2 hours regurgitating the same news when they were given a new story nobody else has run with?
